It was a bit cold and for me it had been a long day (non-stop meetings downtown Chicago from 11-4) of walking around the Loop. From start to finish I must have walked a good 3, maybe 4 miles and for a suburbanite that works from home, that is quite a bit more than my typical day. We got there right after it started (5) and were able to quickly get in after a bit of searching the list for our names.
Event Info: Join us for Hopped Up, a tap takeover with Oskar Blues Brewery happening in Crossroads at House of Blues! We'll have complimentary passed appetizers and food specials made with Oskar Blues beer from 5 PM to 7:30 PM, and live music from Ghost Town Blues Band and Keithen Banks! We'll also be doing giveaways all night!
The guy playing on stage rocked all night and I would post the video I took but my phone’s camera is a slight grade above useless when it is dark in a room. In the end I had a few beers and some really good appetizers while catching up with a friend.
What I had/tried:
Overall it was a good music, good apps, good beer and a good time. Looking forward to the Revolution Brewery Tap Takeover in a few weeks.
